At St. James Lodge #4, Prince Hall Affiliated, charity is not just a gesture — it's a calling. Rooted in Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth, we believe in meeting our community where they are and lifting them higher. Our Lodge takes pride in being a visible, active force for good in the city of Atlanta and surrounding neighborhoods.

1. Feed the Families Program
Each quarter, we organize food drives and meal distributions to ensure no family in our community goes hungry. We partner with local churches and nonprofits to deliver boxes of hope directly to homes and shelters.

2. Youth Empowerment & Mentorship
Our Brothers actively mentor young men through school partnerships, career panels, and our Lodge's “Building Men of Tomorrow” initiative — helping youth develop discipline, confidence, and a vision for their future.

3. Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway

Every August, we provide hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies to students in underserved communities. It's more than just pencils and paper — it’s a head start with dignity.

4. Adopt-A-Family Holiday Support
During Thanksgiving and Christmas, we adopt families facing hardship to ensure they experience the joy and warmth of the season. We provide food, clothing, toys, and holiday blessings.

5. Health & Wellness Events
From free blood pressure screenings to diabetes awareness workshops, we organize community health days that promote prevention and education — especially for Black men and families disproportionately affected by health disparities.
